Double, double, toil and trouble! So much of my heart went into making this big girl - the imagery includes deadly nightshade flowers up top, a witch’s hand casting her spells, a sparkling crystal ball, magic potion bottle and a candlestick casting a shimmery glow over everything! Plus a ghost, skull some flowers and more - so much to see on this beauty! The photos don’t do the colors and sparkles justice, you just need to see it in person! 🤩

I love the idea of big, thick books with pages ready to be filled with photos, sketches, paintings, poems, text and more! She fits an 8.5” x 11” book, the one that comes with it is a sketchbook with 110 acid free sheets - the manufacturer info reads “it contains high quality sketch paper with a versatile surface that's suitable for a variety of dry mediums. The paper has a fine texture and tooth, it has good erasability, and it's smudge resistant, ideal for writing, sketching, doodling and more.” They are available at Michael’s stores, at the time of this listing, they were only $6.49 each! This journal cover can grow with you for a lifetime! 

She has antiqued brass scroll corner plates and a violet leather back pocket perfect for holding pens, papers and more. The pocket on the back is sewn in rainbow thread, the outside of the cover is sewn in a vibrant purple.

All leather is a natural skin, it retains moisture, gets dry and can warp and crack without proper care.. Just like us ;)

For our tooled and painted vegetable tan pieces we use only the best eco & health conscious finishing products - eco-flo environmentally safe stains and varnishes. These varnishes are water-resistant but by no means waterproof.

For any of our pieces, remove before bathing, swimming, showering or hand washing. if your piece does happen to get a splash on it, blot it dry with a soft absorbent cloth immediately in order to lessen any adverse affects, then condition.

On all pieces, I add a conditioning creme to keep it supple and flexible. This is a wax based polish that really helps protect the piece from the elements.

You will want to condition your pieces over time as the coats I've applied wear away. You can use conditioning cremes like Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner to keep your pieces supple and to rejuvenate them... This cream is a combination of natural and synthetic wax emulsions (with bees wax) and does an amazing job!
